Crown Chronicles Part 03: Elizabeth II - The Christian Queen

  Many books, articles, assessments, and tributes have been written about Queen Elizabeth II since 1952. One of the least emphasised aspects of her personhood and reign is the most important of all: Elizabeth II is an overtly Christian Queen. Of her many titles, she is called the Defender of the Faith and Supreme Governor of the Church of England. While these titles have been bestowed on her predecessors over the centuries - some of them notably undevout - there is anecdotal evidence that the Queen takes her Christian faith most seriously.
