It was a red-letter day. On 8 May, 2026, the Trump Administration opened the files of the US government on sightings of alleged aliens and their flying machines.
One notable example was a flying golden orb that sent out a spray of little orbs at a sensitive US site. This opening of the files was declared ‘Disclosure Day.’ Millions of downloads followed.
(Click on https://www.war.gov/UFO/ for more information).
Without question, the topic of alien life beyond Earth, UFOs and UAPs stirs up a lot of interest and heated controversy. Is there life beyond our solar system, and is it intelligent enough to travel to us? In other words, is there extraterrestrial life in this universe, or is humankind unique?
Before Disclosure Day, the government allegedly urged pastors to prepare their congregations for more manifestations of the ‘extraterrestrial.’ Being prepared for seeing flying saucers and little green men with reptilian skin may be prudent or an alarmist diversion and deception.
I want to offer a preliminary response to these questions. You will stir up a lot of interesting points, thus affording an excellent opportunity to share the Gospel.
As the Days of Noah (Matthew 24:37)
To answer questions about the last days, specifically the signs of His coming back to Earth, Jesus uses information about the early days, namely the time of Noah in the Book of Genesis. What happened in his day can happen in ours, too.
So what happened in Noah’s day? They were characterised by sudden swiftness, surprise, and separation. The old order disappears, and a new and different one takes its place.
What were the conditions that spawned the frightful judgment of a worldwide flood with total destruction and few survivors?
We turn our attention to Genesis 6:1-4. There are three groups of people: ‘Sons of God,’ daughters of men,’ and ‘the giants.’ The normal interpretation is that humanity was multiplying in number and in wickedness. The sons of God looked upon the fair daughters of men, took them for wives, and had children by them. Thus came the giants, known as Nephilim.
Biblically speaking, getting married and having children with a God-fearing spouse is not just a ‘good idea its ;s a ‘God idea:’ (Proverbs 18:22).
But in Noah’s day, ‘eating and drinking, marrying and given in marriage’ (Matthew 24:38) was done with such feral intensity as to multiply wickedness and hasten divine judgment. So shall it be in the time of the end.
Each new generation was more corrupt than the former ones. Growing families meant an ever-growing cesspool of sin. And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart Genesis 6:5-6.
This intolerable situation left God in a dilemma. After all, God is very good and so is His creation. Yet the crown of creation- mankind - made in His image, was becoming more vile by the hour. God concluded that the only solution was to flood the planet and start over.
This narrative raises many questions. Were the sons of God human, spiritual, and/or demonic? One commentator says they are human from the Godly lineage of Seth; others say they are angelic beings that stand before God, and Satan stood there with them (Job 1:6).
The problem with this is that angels don’t marry (Matthew 22:30) - at least the good ones don’t. And what about the Nephilim? Genesis 6:4 in the original Hebrew does not say ‘’giant’ or ‘ Nephilim’; it says ‘mighty men’ and ‘men of renown.’ We know there were giants after the flood: Caleb saw them in Canaan (Numbers 13), and young David slew a giant named Goliath (1Samuel 17).
Conclusion by Dr Eli Lizorkin-Girzhel
Genesis 6:1-4 leaves us with questions, but it does not leave us without a warning. Whatever the identity of the sons of God or the Nephilim, the passage shows what happens when God-given boundaries are rejected, desire becomes domination, and power is separated from holiness. The proper response is not speculation without restraint but humility before what God has revealed and reverence where He has chosen to remain silent.

As reported earlier, the American administration urged pastors to prepare their
congregations for alien encounters. In our next Issachar, we will have a pastoral message
with the end times as a backdrop. You will not want to miss it. TO BE CONTINUED.
