Disclosure Day:’ Are UFOs, UAPs and Alien Invasions Real?

Strange spacecraft, flying saucers, little green men and reptilian-like creatures. What do these things have in common? 

They are part of the growing phenomenon of unusual beings and technology appearing on planet Earth. The documented sightings are becoming more and more frequent. 

Steven Spielberg produced a movie called ‘Disclosure Day,’ so that which was seen by few will be revealed to many. And public interest in this subject has gone through the roof. Stephen Turnham makes the following observations:

Ignoring the subject and hoping it is fiction and will go away is no longer a choice, because the reports are too numerous. Individuals and groups have reported and filmed close encounters of the fourth and fifth kind, while social media is awash with videos and interviews.

But before continuing, here is a vocabulary lesson:

• UFO: Unidentified Flying Objects.

• UAP: Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena; this is the newer and more inclusive term.

• Extraterrestrial: An alleged, highly intelligent alien being from another planet. 

• Extra-Dimensional: Instead of being from another planet, it could be a spirit being from this planet, putting on another dimension to be visible to humans.

The immense public interest in these extra-dimensions generates around three questions:

1. Where did I come from?

1. Are we the only forms of life and thus alone in the universe or are there other life forms on other planets?

1. If we are the only life forms, are we alone and rejected? Short answer: No!

Interest in UFOs and UAPs is not limited to private citizens. The American government has been observing these things for years, with Congress, the Pentagon, and the White House all participating in the process. As part of their commitment to transparency, in February 2026, the Trump Administration ordered key government departments to ‘begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life.’

The first release of information was on May 8, 2026, with the promise of more to come. Within hours of the disclosure's release, the government website experienced twelve million downloads and many more since.

Concerning this event, President Trump wrote the following on Truth Social:

Based on the tremendous interest shown, I will be directing the Secretary of War, and other relevant Departments and Agencies, to begin the process of identifying and releasing Government files related to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP), and unidentified flying objects (UFOs), and any and all other information connected to these highly complex, but extremely interesting and important, matters.

One of the very interesting, yet troublesome disclosures happened in October 2023 at a secret, sensitive national security location in the western part of the United States. For two nights in a row, a bright orange orb descended from the sky and alighted on the ridgeline. From there, it sent a cluster of mini orange orbs towards this top-secret facility.

Was this an alien invasion from outer space? Or was it one of America’s enemies playing with their latest technological toy? Discernment is the practical key.

Stephen Turnham makes this additional observation:

The release (of the UAP documents) notably excludes records from the CIA and the Department of Energy, which are considered primary sources for the most sensitive information. The video files released highlight new, unresolved footage from 2024 showing unidentified objects near military infrastructures, emphasising that these are active, ongoing national security concerns.

Just before the release of the US government's UAP documents, officials briefed a group of pastors to warn their congregations about these revelations. If you are a pastor, what would you say to God’s flock? Your family? Neighbours? And the world?

Jesus alerted His followers that the end of the age and His second coming will be like the ‘days of Noah (Matthew 24:37). Could the UFO/UAPs be part of this sign?

Handled incorrectly, UFO/UAP can cause deception and distress. Used wisely and truthfully, it offers a priceless opportunity to share the gospel and Bible prophecy. As a ‘pastor at large, I will offer insights on this topic in Part Two.
